Aaron is passionate about building a positive workplace Health and Safety culture, through developing its leadership and workers’ capabilities to ensure effective control of business risks.
With more than 20 years of experience as a Health and Safety Risk professional, Aaron has a strong ability to understand specific business risks, assess the level of organisational safety maturity and the culture of its people – then develop, implement and manage tailored safety solutions to ensure effective control of business risks through a preventative management system and leadership approach.
Aaron has held various Senior Management roles within major New Zealand and Australian companies in a wide range of industries including Aviation, Mining, Construction, Local and Central Government. He has worked for or within companies including Solid Energy, Skippers Aviation, Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA), Nelson City Council, Nelson Airport, Nelson Forests, Landpower, Tait Communications, Port Nelson, Port Marlborough, Network Tasman, Nelson Electricity, Cloudy Bay Vineyards and Ryman Healthcare.
Aaron has been a Graduate Member of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management since 2014.
