What’s the process for completing a Health, Safety & Wellness system:

Risk Assessments

Intesafety recommend it is a great idea to run a critical risk workshop when completing a company risk assessment / register with workers and managers to ascertain what the company critical risks are and the existing controls that are in place. We find this really useful to:

Identify operational critical risks
Understand existing controls and their effectiveness
Understand what the additional controls may be needed to be implemented to strengthen critical risk control.

Part of these discussions focuses on the requirement to monitor and measure these risks for control effectiveness and ensure reporting reflects these results. Resulting from these discussions, the requirement for more in depth Bow Tie Analysis may be identified, and indeed might be incorporated into this workshop or separately.
