Helena French

Health, Safety & Wellbeing Coordinator

Helena is a senior coordinator with many years’ experience in the planning and smooth delivery of a wide range of programmes around the country. She has implemented improvements to complex problems in many industries, including fishing, healthcare and national government administration.

Helena brings her skills in facilitation, finance, KPI reporting, communications, administration, and, most certainly, organisation!

EXPERIENCE

Helena started her working life as a research scientist in a development laboratory in the UK, designing experiments to test new diagnostic machinery against strict ISO standards. She then worked as a marine biologist for a conservation charity on a desert island in Borneo, before moving to Aotearoa to start at ACC in injury prevention.

As an experienced professional, Helena brings knowledge of various programme methodologies, as well as skills in meeting facilitation, problem-solving, financial management, administration, quality assurance and stakeholder communication. Her approach is warm, friendly, and no problem is too big for her to attempt to solve or question too silly to ask!
