Paul has an extensive background in Health & Safety, Risk Management, Quality, Auditing and Environmental compliance. He is experienced in a variety of industries including, construction, residential, processing, manufacturing, charitable trusts, education, commercial and infrastructure sectors. He has undertaken a range of large-scale projects, such as the Kaikoura and Canterbury earthquake recovery programs, Wellington tunnels refurbishment and the Rangitata irrigation scheme. Certification standards – ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 (Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality).
Paul has extensive experience providing Health & Safety, Quality, Risk and Environmental management systems and processes, including high level auditing to ISO standards with corporate organisations. He has experience examining the effectiveness of risk communication to determine if messages are being received and acted on (research thesis project). Proven experience in reviewing and improving systems and processes: Research and implementing integrated management systems involving significant change management for senior, operational and administrative employees. Extensive practical staff management and leadership experience. Leading compliance teams for projects entailing management of over 600 sub-contractors completing in excess of 5,000 residential rebuilds. High-level communication and people relationship skills. Successfully building strategic relationships with clients, joint partnerships, suppliers, management and staff.
